Yarrow, Western (Achillea millefolium occidentalis)
Western Yarrow is native to the western U.S. and is often used in reclamation and restoration projects in dryland areas. Plants have finely divided, fern-like leaves, woolly hairs and a pungent scent. The flowers are white and occur in flat-topped clusters. Plants are very drought tolerant.
