Dispatch / E-Commerce Manager

Job description

Rivendell Distribution, Inc. is looking for a Dispatch/E-Commerce manager to join our growing company. A successful Dispatch/E-Commerce is a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze data.

In additional to shipping and overseeing inventory, the candidate will work alongside our sales and distribution team to conduct inside sales, customer service support, shipping, and receiving. The candidate will personally coordinate all shipping and ensure inventory levels are optimal for orders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily stock levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Manage inventory tracking system to record shipments and stock levels.
  • Report on inventory levels, Inventory Issues, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiency to upper management.
  • Establish and maintain accurate inventory counts of all products.
  • Maintain accuracy of sales order data including items, quantities, due dates, special instructions, terms and conditions, receipt dates, minimum free freight incentives, early order programs, etc.
  • Book freight for outgoing shipments at cost-effective rates leveraging relationships with trucking companies and freight brokers.
  • Develop business relationships with suppliers, trucking companies, customers, truckers, and freight brokers.
  • Support inside sales team including front desk sales, telephone, email inquiries, and customer service support.
  • Schedule and Dispatch local delivery routes for 2 to 3 trucks daily
  • Receive, schedule, and direct product orders for delivery and pick-up
  • Coordinate receiving and warehousing of product
  • Facilitate communication between sales/field staff and customers

Duration: Year-round

Work Location: Spring Valley of Glenwood Springs, about 20 minutes by car from downtown Glenwood, one mile past the CMC Spring Valley campus.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Pay: $15- $20 per hour depending on qualifications

Duration: Seasonal April - November

Work Location: Spring Valley of Glenwood Springs, about 20 minutes by car from downtown Glenwood, one mile past the CMC Spring Valley campus.

Paid Training: Yes

Management: Reports to Office Manager and Owner

Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Requirements:

  • Outgoing personality, professional demeanor

Job Duties:

  • Organize, clean, re-stock, and maintain sales office and sales displays

  • Work closely with yard/warehouse personnel for customer loading and re-stocking
