Coneflower, Prairie (Ratibida columnifera)
Prairie Coneflower is a biennial to short-lived perennial which is native from Alberta to Texas, New Mexico and Arkansas. Flowers have an elongated center and drooping yellow petals. It is easy to grow and prefers moderate to dry, well-drained soils and full sun. Plants bloom in summer and are ideal for wildflower mixtures, pollinator plantings and xeriscape gardens.
